I am a stalker

but not in a bad way…really!

I am very good at Google-ing and may have missed my calling as an international spy.   I am usually in the know about what is what online.

My latest favorite blog somehow missed my radar until now, but she is really a Big Deal. Like Better Homes & Garden Magazine’s and Apartment Therapy’s Blogger of the Year kind of Big Deal. Cool!

I “met” Mandi Gubler of Vintage Revivals first when I admired her home in the latest Do It Yourself Magazine (Aug 2014) No links online dammit, so I borrowed this picture from her website.

Vintage Revivals in Do It Yourself aug 2014Mandi is a thrifter after my own heart. We have a few of the same treasures. And a very similar aesthetic…lots of color, a hit of black, and a mix of vintage and modern.  She is a self taught DIYer and sends the message that all should be FEARLESS. I am totally on board with that. You will hear me say it in the video clips…Just try it!

Images and projects from her blog popped up in my Facebook newsfeed a few more times before I finally connected the dots and realized all this cool stuff was coming from the same gal. I jumped on over to her blog and saw THIS!

MANDI! You are reading my mind!!!

I have been moaning about wanting a vintage trailer to use as a mobile shop for awhile now. Looked at few. Shed a few tears.  Going to look at another one today in fact…stay tuned.  She will use this for family camping trips, but it is still fun to watch her renovation progress. And a bit scary. They just took the rear end off. Yipes!
